Our Projects
Blackfish Capital develops and invests in affordable and workforce housing across the greater Seattle region. The firm underwrites and manages each project for execution quality, regulatory compliance, and long-term performance. Community engagement is a delivery requirement, executed through early coordination with public agencies and local stakeholders.
Apollo Scriber Lake is a 173-unit, transit-oriented affordable housing development in Lynnwood, Washington, with all units income-restricted to households earning up to 60% of Area Median Income. The project includes a family-oriented unit mix, with 40% two- and three-bedroom units, and is positioned near Link light rail and rapid bus service. The site is adjacent to Trader Joe’s and Scriber Lake Park, with convenient access to schools and daily retail.
Apollo Edmonds is a 256-unit affordable housing development in Edmonds, Washington, with all units income-restricted to households earning up to 60% of Area Median Income. The project includes a family-oriented unit mix, with 40% two- and three-bedroom units, and is located near frequent transit service and daily retail, including grocery and commercial amenities. The site also provides access to Lake Ballinger Park.
Located approximately 20 miles north of downtown Seattle, this 200-unit multifamily property incorporates modern design and shared amenities, including a rooftop deck, bicycle storage, fitness center, and landscaped courtyard. Twenty percent of the units are designated as affordable housing.
Designed by award-winning architect Ryan Rhodes, this 24-unit townhouse development incorporates modern design and is built to Built Green 4-Star standards. The homes feature rooftop decks, off-street parking, and open living layouts, supporting contemporary urban living.
This four-unit townhouse development is located in the Edmonds Bowl, an area with limited new residential construction. The project delivers context-sensitive infill housing and incorporates a Northwest Craftsman architectural design consistent with the surrounding neighborhood.
In addition to its core focus on affordable and workforce housing, Blackfish Capital selectively invests in other real estate and operating businesses aligned with the firm’s risk discipline and long-term investment philosophy. These investments are evaluated based on fundamental value, downside protection, and management alignment, and are pursued opportunistically rather than as a primary strategy.
